President and CEO Nicole Wolter was featured in Production Machining discussing how she utilizes social media as a tool to grow HM Manufacturing’s brand and presence. “I feel like manufacturing gets a bad rap because we aren’t targeting young people on social media. My company isn’t on social media to get work; we do this for manufacturing exposure.” Wolter expresses the importance of showcasing manufacturing in the positive, innovative light that it deserves. She believes that once the younger generation really understands what manufacturing is about, we will close the skilled labor gap. Additionally, the use of social media is what separates the modern businesses from traditional companies. As social media remains an integral part of society, we must grow with it to stay relevant.
