​At HM Manufacturing, milling is one of our services that allows a product to be cut and formed into a precise shape and size with complete accuracy. Milling is the machining process of using rotary cutters to carve material from a work piece. It has the ability to cover a wide variety of different operations and products for any projects, on scales from small individual parts, to large heavy-duty items.

​​HM uses CNC milling machines that include vertical and right-angle heads which minimize costly setup and results in faster machining.  We offer 5-axis machining, providing milling, drilling, pocketing, profiling, and facing. These precision machining processes can be applied to a variety of materials such as alloy and carbon steels, aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics. Our CNC Milling machines perform simple to intense milling operations with extreme accuracy and consistency, holding tolerances as close as .0001”. For vertical milling, we can produce a part with a 32 to 16 micro-inch finish and products size can range between ½” diameter to 24” diameter and length up to 60”.
