Not all timing belt pulleys are created equal. This 72-tooth Supertorx® pulley (8 mm pitch) isn’t a profile you see every day, but it’s one we’re always ready to produce when customers need performance beyond standard geometries. For this project, our team took a customer-provided sample and reverse engineered it into a fully manufacturable component — balancing tight tolerances (within just a few thousandths), complex features, and heat treatment planning to make sure the final part performed exactly as intended. After heat treat, the shafts were precision ground to hold a tolerance within a tenth, while maintaining critical geometry across multiple features.
